Digital Technology

“Digital technology turns media consumers into producers”. In your experience, how has your creativity developed through using digital technology to complete your coursework productions? [25]

Creativity!

TASK: Using print screens from your AS and A2 productions, produce a mood board of all the elements you think that would be classified as being creative.

Once completed, place it on the class blog and write a couple of paragraphs explaining how and why you think the elements are creative? was the idea creative or did it become creative once it was produced and/or implemented? Use media language and quotes when writing about your mood board!

For example, the video below is taken from a task that media teachers had to complete with Pete Fraser based on creativity. You could argue the production has a creative aspect through coming up with an idea and implementing the idea through production.

Creativity involves two processes: thinking, then producing. Innovation is the production or implementation of an idea. If you have ideas, but don't act on them, you are imaginative but not creative.

Your mood boards will be presented at the end of the class.
